CHARLOTTE, NC. – March 10, 2017 -- The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte will celebrate the recent appointment of acclaimed Chef Juan Pablo de la Sota Riva with three new cooking classes presenting delicious, easy-to- create Latin Flavors. Showcasing enticing tapas from several Latin cultures, the class menus will provide a taste of favorites served at the hotel’s Kinship Lounge -- and will feature robust Latin flavors, fresh catches and harvests, fragrant herbs and spices -- and a different, hand-crafted salsa for each lively session.

The new classes may be reserved by hotel guests and the public and will be offered on the Thursday evenings of March 23, April 27 and May 18. Following an included cocktail demonstration, sessions will allow students to work alongside Chef Juan Pablo in a hands-on workshop setting, collaborating to prepare the evening’s menu and then enjoying their creations afterward. Throughout the experience, students will be able to interact with the chef and engage with him in discussing any cooking topics which may be of interest.

The cost of each Latin Flavors cooking class, which includes parking, is $125 USD per person.  Early reservations are recommended and may be made by calling The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte at +1-704-547-2244.  All participants will receive copies of the evening’s recipes, with monthly menus to feature the following:
