The Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
BEIJING, CHINA – December 2016 – Every year, the celebrated outdoor Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street attracts a lot of attention in the city. Andrew Rogers Multi-Property VP & GM of The Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street, in the presence of more than 300 distinguished guests, lit the Christmas tree again on December 5th, 2016 at 7:00pm to mark the official start of this year’s holiday season.
As a tradition, a children’s choir from Sun Village spread holiday cheer with their angelic singing. Santa Claus and Teddy Bear roamed around and mingled with young guests. Applause, flashing cameras and confetti filled the porte-cochere area of the hotel.
Throughout the year and particularly during this special season of giving, The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street reaches out to the community and lends a helping hand to those who truly need assistance. As part of The Ritz-Carlton Community Footprint’s commitment to this cause, the hotel is organizing a series of charity activities focused on helping underprivileged children in Beijing. The children from Sun Village did not only receive material gifts but spiritual and emotional support as well.
Mr Rogers said, “Being a leading luxury hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street does have the responsibility to continue its drive-to-thrive charity for children, to make them more confident and happy. In turn, they will learn how to share and love others. Showing them that they are loved makes them stronger and better people. It’s the most meaningful thing we can do during the holiday season and in our daily lives.”
