Committed to The Ritz-Carlton Community Footprints to making a lasting contribution and a meaningful difference in local community, The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing proudly supported WWF in Earth Hour mission by switching off non-essential lighting in key areas of the property from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on 19 March, 2016. Guests were also encouraged to participate by turning off the non-essential lights in their guestrooms.

Celebrate Earth Hour® Founded by the World Wildlife Fund® (WWF), Earth Hour is the single largest, symbolic mass-participation event in the world, inspiring a global community of millions of people to switch off lights. Normally taking place annually at the last Saturday of March at 8:30 p.m. local time, the purpose of Earth Hour is to bring attention to sustainability issues on our planet and how individuals and companies can make a difference.

Our ladies and gentlemen believe that we can make a difference and understand that every contribution we make is an opportunity to leave an imprint on a community.
