BEIJING, CHINA, Oct. 19, 2016 – Enjoy culinary craftsmanship from The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo and Osaka, with guest chefs’ gourmet showcase and experience the authentic Japanese cuisine from November 10 to 24 at The Ritz – Carlton, Beijing.
For foodies who are looking for authentic flavors of sushi, guest chefs Tadaaki Nomura and Shintaro Nakajima from The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo will craft a rich selection of sushi at Aroma for lunch and dinner from November 10 to 16. The craftsmen hail from Hinokizaka, a contemporary which was awarded one Michelin Star for 2010, and the only Japanese restaurant located in a hotel has earned this distinction. They select the freshest raw fish and cook rice that is seasoned with rice vinegar.
Guest chefs Mitsutoshi Saito and Hideaki Tanaka from The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka present a continued Japanese showcase from November 17 to 24. Osaka is known to some as the gourmet capital of Japan and Executive Sous Chef Mitsutoshi will showcase unique cooking techniques from Osaka and seasonal ingredients with a selection of highlights comprising of Tempura.
Besides the authentic Japanese cuisine, Aroma restaurant is decorated in Japanese style which has some modern elements. Flower arrangement class, Japanese tea ceremony performance, traditional Japanese dancing performances and lucky draws are awaiting the guests.
