GUANGZHOU, CHINA – June 21, 2017 – From June 21 to 28, 2017, The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou partners with the Thailand Tourism Bureau and Thai Consulate in Guangzhou to present a seven-day promotion of authentic Thai delights for lunch and dinner. The hotel has invited two guest chefs from the JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa hotel, transforming the restaurant with exotic decorations and imported authentic and quality ingredients for this Thai Gourmet Carnival, which enlivens guests’ senses in a very authentic Thai dining experience.

During the festival week, guests can enjoy dozens of Thai delicacies including the renowned Tom Yum Kung soup. The two guest chefs prepare this traditional favorite using the most authentic cooking techniques and ingredients to enhance its rich and spicy original flavor, bringing up Thai flavors for the taste buds. Guests can also enjoy other Thai delights such as Thai tempura; charcoal roast pork neck salad; chicken curry with potato; Thai curry crab; stir-fried rice noodles and Thai mango glutinous rice with fresh coconut milk.

At the opening dinner, representatives from the Thailand Tourism Bureau and Thai Consulate in Guangzhou gave a welcome speech to express their appreciation to the hotel for presenting this special experience for foodies of Thai cuisine and culture.
