GUANGZHOU, CHINA—August 11, 2016— Award-winning FOODS restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou presents a brand-new upgrade to its “Themed Buffet Dinners”. The hotel’s Executive Sous Chef, Lincoln Lim, leads his team to present four themed buffet dinners – “Barbecue Night,” “Wagyu Beef Night,” “Ocean’s Bounty” and “Boston Lobster Feast”.  Diners can indulge in a wide array of delectable specialties served alternately throughout the week.

In Ocean’s Bounty, FOODS offers an abundance of premium seafood on ice every weekend. Choose from oysters, abalone, prawns, razor clams, mussels, clams, scallops and flower crabs, with the Alaskan crabs and Boston lobsters among the star steamed attractions. Sunday night features jet-fresh Boston lobsters, which are shucked live and cooked in three styles: cheese-baked, served on a sizzling plate, or grilled a-la-minute to the guest’s liking. This glorious taste and visual feast is something discerning diners should not miss.

Additionally, guests can enjoy exciting gatherings at FOODS Barbecue Buffet Night from Monday to Wednesday. Highlights of the promotion include a selection of grilled succulent meats and seafood at the terrace, and many more to savor. On Thursdays, Wagyu Themed Night offers over various dishes featuring tender beef imported from Australia including: snowflake, cattle, sirloin steak, tenderloin, rib-eye and T-bone steak, elaborately prepared by our talented chefs into fine dishes. There are also options for both size and sauce, customized to guests’ preferences.

The buffet also offers a wide selection of free-flow red and white wines, draft beer, juices, tea and soft drinks. Unlimited oysters or foie gras are also available as the star feature.
