FOODS - New Themed Nights

FOODS presents six new buffet themes starting in May, allowing your taste buds to experience extraordinary flavors from around the world. From Mexico to Germany and Southeast Asia to Texas, global cuisines take center stage in six live cooking theaters featuring a mélange of vibrant colors and fresh flavors making FOODS an ideal destination for epicureans.

Featuring a selection of authentic Mexican delights, the journey begins with the appetizing hot and sour Quesadillas, Tacos and Churros with warm chocolate sauce on Mondays. An array of delicious Southeast Asian food is prepared and highlight includes Coconut Fragrant Curry, Nasi Lemak and Satay on Tuesdays. Wednesdays, guests could indulge in the ever-popular German signature dishes, grilled sausages and beers, and roasted pork knuckles with sauerkraut. Thursday’s Brazilian Night offering Churrasco, Moqueca de Camarao, Caruru, etc. On weekends, the kitchen showcasing a wide variety of fresh seafoods, such as oysters, Boston lobster, steamed abalones, baked Alaskan king crabs, Atlantic scallops, and salty sweet crabs. Every Sundays, the Texas BBQ brings out the atmosphere at the terrace, offering mouthwatering BBQ beef briskets and baked Atlantic scallops.

In addition to the sumptuous themed cuisines, guests must not miss the Chinese double-boiled soups, handcrafted dim sums, cheese selections, and the live Italian station featuring pizzas and risottos. The irresistible desserts in romantic pastel colors, offering a kaleidoscope of patteseries ranging from tarts and homemade cakes to chocolate fondue and caramel puddings. Guests can also indulge in an unlimited serving of red and white wines, fruit juices, and fruit teas.

Pearl Lounge - The Ali-Miller Afternoon Tea

Collaborating with the famed English bone chinaware, Ali Miller, The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou presents a limited classic English Afternoon Tea with traditional British pastries at the Pearl Lounge. Guests can savour the luxury afternoon tea experience served in elegant Ali Miller teaware from now until June 30, 2017.

Renowned for homeware perfection since 2009, Ms. Ali Miller expresses herself through art and creativity to recreate the atmosphere of an eccentric British home. She creates beautiful patterns and prints on bone china products where 18-carat gold details are hand-painted on some pieces.

Guests can indulge in savories such as homemade spiced salmon and chives cream cheese; Prague ham finger sandwiches; potato pancakes and shrimp with mayonnaise salad, and three-color tomato carpaccio and black vinegar gel ball with basil puree, served on exquisite three-tiered Ali Miller teaware with four different patterns, namely "Sweet Home," "Alice," "Growing" and "Hampstead Heath”. Accompanying delectable sweets includes Charlotte Royale, Rocky Guanaja Chocolate Profiterole and Seasonal Fruit Tart to Exotic Verrine and Raisin Scone, served with Sengana Strawberry Jam and Chantilly Cream.

Guests can also enhance their Afternoon Tea experience with world-renowned tea brand TWG, and indulge in the pleasure of tea-tasting. Tea options include Royal Darjeeling, Earl Grey Gentleman, English Breakfast Tea, Creme Brulee Tea, Silver Moon Tea and Tokyo-Singapore Tea. Latte, mocha and hot chocolate are also available for pairing with the selection of savories.
