Ozone playing host to New York’s cocktail industry leader

Hong Kong, August 29, 2017 – From September 19 to 23, 2017, cocktail enthusiasts will have an exclusive opportunity to catch Death & Co at Ozone.

Opened on New Year’s Eve in 2006, in Manhattan’s East Village, Death & Co. is acclaimed for its contribution to the contemporary craft cocktail movement. Its unwavering passion for “modern-classic cocktails” pays homage to the classics while leading the cocktail scene to a new era of innovation. In the glory of establishing some of the world’s most exciting cocktail trends, Death & Co. won the Best American Cocktail Bar and World’s Best Cocktail Menu at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards in 2010. The legendary New York speakeasy is coming to Hong Kong in partnership with Diageo Reserve World Class and Ozone.

For five nights only, a team of Death & Co.’s best bartenders will be in Hong Kong, led by Tyson Buhler, World Class American Bartender of the Year 2015. Guests at Ozone will have an exclusive opportunity to sample signature cocktails from Death & Co. and fierily delectable small plates created by Ozone’s Chef de Cuisine Rafael Gil. Martini is a Ketel One vodka and sherry-based cocktail balanced with a hint of freshness from an olive and bay leaf tincture. A blend of Tanqueray No. TEN gin, rum, cane syrup, eucalyptus extract and seltzer water, Collins is a palatable bubbly treat to stir one up to the temptations of a fun night out. Ladies should look no further than Fix – a Don Julio Reposado tequila-based cocktail mellowed with lime, vanilla syrup, mango puree and salt, beautifully presented with edible flower garnishing. Sour is another palatable option for drinkers of all tastes – a fruit-infused Bulleit Rye whiskey carrying refreshing notes of lemon, grapefruits and raspberry.

Complementing the cocktails is a scrumptious selection of small bites developed by Ozone’s Spanish Chef de Cuisine Rafael Gil. Ozone-Dog is a delicious treat enhanced with flavorful crispy onion, homemade ketchup and mustard. Highlighted by Chef Rafael’s secret recipe for burger sauce, Wagyu BLT-Ozone is set to be a pleasant surprise for any palate. Topped with melted cheddar and crispy bacon, Rustic Fries is an irresistible treat that couldn’t go wrong with any cocktail.
