HONG KONG, July 7, 2016 – Paris, one of the world's top ten cities, has always been referred to as the “City of Love”. This romantic city offers a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere with numerous cafes set up in the streets, allowing customers to enjoy the fantastic scenery of the Seine while tasting delicate canapes and sipping delicious coffee, considered to be one of the greatest pleasures of one’s life journey.

In hopes of bringing the essence of Paris to Hong Kong, The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and L’Éclair de Genie will jointly launch a tea set called the “French Summer Tea Set” from August 1 to September 30. For this first collaboration between two top-tier brands, a limited series of classic French desserts and snacks will be presented. This will enable customers to enjoy a leisurely yet romantic French afternoon while basking in the beauty of Victoria Harbour’s unrivaled view up on the 103rd floor, at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong.

The “French Summer Tea Set” is placed in a French Contemporary Style tea box featuring L’Éclair de Genie’s signature desserts, including four mini-sized éclairs, two chocolate Bonbons and four afternoon tea treats made by The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. This aesthetically designed tea box will charm your eyes and tantalize your appetite this summer.
 

Enjoying Sweet and Exclusive French Puff

The four mini éclairs are popular treats featuring the new Black Forest flavor specially made for The Ritz-Carlton afternoon tea set. Pocket-sized éclairs designed in the colors of romance prove to be irresistible, while the innovative flavors and sweetness instantly stimulate your taste buds after just one bite. High-tea lovers will definitely fall for the unique flavors and presentation of these éclairs.

N°19 Black Forest éclair: The cream used in the Black Forest éclair is made from maraschino cherries and dark chocolate, giving off a rich aroma. Meanwhile, the “I Love Ritz-Carlton” design has turned the éclair into a tailor-made dessert exclusively for the enjoyment of the customers of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong.

N°1 Salted Caramel éclair: The salted caramel éclair is a classic mouthwatering combination. The crisp-coated éclair contains a smooth cream filling with sweet caramel perfectly blended in. This special texture captivates your taste buds and makes you fall in love at first bite.

N°5 Lemon Yuzu éclair: This éclair captures the guests’ attention with its bright-colored appearance, while its lemon cream, with a hint of sourness, refreshingly satisfies their appetite.

N°117 Dark Chocolate éclair: This premium Dark Chocolate éclair is filled with 80% Guanaja dark chocolate cream. Its slight bitterness is perfectly balanced with sweet chocolate chips added on top, taking chocolate indulgence to the next level.

In addition, L’Éclair de Genie's Chocolate Bonbons are also included in the tea set, made from various caramels and ganaches perfected with the best cacao and subtly coated in Guanaja Chocolate. Decorated with vibrant colors in a beautifully artistic presentation, the Bonbons offer a crispy texture that will get you addicted.

Apart from the delighting mini éclairs, the 4 afternoon tea treats in the set also reflect the essence of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and L’Éclair de Genie, with its beautiful colors and fresh ingredients.
