Sanya, China, 18 January, 2017 The Ritz Kids Super Heroes successfully opened the Peacock House, as part of the hotel's Winter Camp program.

After exploring the lush greenery of The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay on a mission to save the poorly injured Dundun bear, our little heroes and their parents were exceptionally invited to take part in the opening ceremony of the Peacock House. In presence of the Multi Property Vice President and General Manager, Mr. Hoss Vetry, and the Ladies and Gentlemen of the hotel, they were greeted with a sweet buffet outdoors, fresh juices, and fun activities, including peacock color drawing.

The opening of the house marked the celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Peacock's extended family, which now counts three new feathery members!

Their new home is located in Uncle Martin's Secret Garden, where are featured fruits, vegetables and a dozen of other creatures. This is the ideal place for parents to revisit their childhood or simply bring their children to say hello to their natural neighbors, and to the Peacock Family!

During the ceremony, Mr. Hoss Vetry, Multi Property Vice President and General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay commented: "We welcomed Mr. and Ms. Peacock last year as part of Uncle Martin's Secret Garden. Now that the Peacock Family gets bigger, this brings us back to the many memories shared throughout the year with our very loyal guests and their children. Today's ceremony paves the way for our new generations to continue enjoying and treasuring Sanya's natural wonders."

Almost every feature of Uncle Martin's Secret Garden and the Peacock House is made from recycled materials including the small bridge, and the produces in the garden often end up in the hotel’s restaurants when in season.
