Start your Easter bubbling with a classic glass of Valdobbiadene Prosecco before you start to eat. “Agnello Scottadito” means “Lamb Scottadito style.” It is a traditional Italian recipe that families often eat at Easter. In Italy, the mother or grandmother in the family will start to prepare this dish early in the morning. They select a cut of lamb and marinate it with fresh rosemary, parsley, garlic and extra virgin olive oil, before slow cooking it in black olive sauce. The name of the dish actually means ‘burning fingers lamb’, because once it’s cooked, it’s so tempting nobody can wait to try it, and it’s easy to burn your fingers picking it up too soon. On the Easter buffet, you will also find delicious carvings of Beef Rib Eye, Turkey, Suckling Pig and Roasted Salmon, along with homemade pasta and risotto by Chef Daniele Milliani.
