SHANGHAI, CHINA – November 29, 2017 – Nestled on the 55th floor, towering above the Shanghai IFC business and entertainment complex, The Ritz-Carlton Spa Shanghai, Pudong launches a new private yoga suite to offer a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life below.

Converted from one of the elegantly appointed treatment rooms, the private yoga suite stays true to the much-celebrated original design by Richard Farnell – modern lines and Art Deco detailing with fine finishes. The yoga suite features a relaxing exercise area complemented with a private shower room, bathroom and closet space. Guests can expect an elevated level of wellness in a cozy setting for exclusive classes of up to two persons under the guidance of a professional trainer.

Be it a beginner or a veteran yogi, the intimate class size allows the trainer to tailor a yoga program that best accommodates the needs and condition of each participant. A 60-minute one-on-one class is available at RMB 800* per person, whereas a class for two is priced at RMB 1,000* per session.

Those who fancy the ultimate in indulgence should look no further than the “Unwind and Revive” yoga and massage package. Available at RMB 2,000 net per person and RMB 3,600 net for two persons, the special package is slated to be a total de-stressing remedy with a 60-minute yoga session followed by either a 90-minute body massage of the guest’s choice from the spa menu, or a combination of 60-minute body massage and a 30-minute facial treatment. Seasonal fruit platter, yogurt and calming lemongrass tea will also be served in the relaxation room to pamper not just the body but also the palates of the most health-conscious crowd.
