Young Marshal's Mansion is the house of Zhang Xueliang, this western style house was built in 1921. Zhang Xueliang was the vice-commander in general of land, navy and air force of Nanjing Government in 1930. He launched Xian Event in 1936. Jingyuan (Garden of Serenity) was built in 1921. It covers an area of 3016 square meters with built-up area of 1900 square meters. From 1929 to 1931, the Last Emperor Puyi, his Empress Wan Rong and Consort Wenxiu lived here. There is a brick-wood building with Spanish residential style. It was a typical model of courtyard private residences during the Concession period in Tianjin.
