CLEVELAND, OH. – June 28, 2016 -- When next month’s RNC comes to Ohio, The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland will be ready to roll out the red, white and blue carpet for guests and residents alike.

Connected to the RNC event arena by a dedicated indoor walkway, the top-rated downtown hotel plans to unveil new in-room entertainment systems and 55-inch TV screens for overnight visitors -- along with special conveniences for travelers on the go and an array of patriotic cocktails inspired by the newsworthy occasion.

Hotel dining locations, including Muse and The Lobby Lounge, will be open and operating throughout the convention, with extended operating hours from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. Event-themed drinks and bites will include the red, white and blue Freedom Spritzer made with white Riesling and blue simple syrup and garnished with raspberries and blueberries. The hotel’s legendary Martini Hall of Fame will also welcome two new specialty cocktails for July -- The Candidate and The Patriot, with the latter resonant of a raspberry-flavored cosmopolitan. An RNC-inspired Red, White and Brew beer menu will also be offered for those ready to cool down before or after long hours of networking and merrymaking.

A further July cocktail sure to warm the hearts of Cleveland enthusiasts is the continuation of the hotel’s

All-In, created in honor of the NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team -- which plays its home games in the Q Arena next door to The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland. The All-In was the hotel’s best-selling cocktail during June’s widely-celebrated NBA playoffs.

Throughout the convention, Ritz-Carlton guests who are hungry and in a hurry will also have new access to grab-and-go hotel menus and to the ultimate signature Cleveland food item, pierogi -- the legendary local savory with an eastern European heritage and fresh local flavors.

Guest rooms at The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland will unveil new TVs and entertainment systems just in time for The Republican National Convention, along with opulent new mattresses and in-room amenities designed to create #RCMemories for the month’s overnight guests. Additionally, and from July 18 to 21, hotel public spaces will be vibrantly adorned with patriotic florals, sights and sounds, while one-of-a-kind retail innovations will make on-site luxury shopping conveniently available for convention-goers.

The hotel’s restaurant and lobby locations look forward to serving guests throughout the RNC, whether or not they are staying at the hotel.  All guest rooms are committed for the event, however.
