CLEVELAND, OHIO – October 21, 2016 -- With game-one of the World Series and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ home opener both set for October 25, The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland has created a special new food and beverage experience for lovers of the two sports. Beginning Tuesday, October 25 and continuing through the final game of the World Series – or no sooner than October 29, the hotel will present the following:

  • Lobby Lounge on 6 will offer two new Clutch Cocktails in honor of baseball -- The Fall Classic (made with bourbon, chocolate bitters, cherry purée and chocolate mini-baseball garnish) and CLE Cider (made with Captain Morgan Rum, House-Made Vanilla Cider, Myers’s Dark Rum and apple slice garnish).

  • Added Happy Hour dining selections will include a Sweep Streak Steak Quesadilla, The Winning Wings, Game Day Flatbread, Major League Vegetable Egg Rolls, ands Champion Cheese Curds.

  • A squad of hotel Basketball and Baseball Concierges will provide guests with information on the upcoming basketball and baseball games, team stats, traffic and crowd updates, walking and driving routes in the city, and more. Employees of the hotel have undergone extensive game, player and statistics training in order to be of assistance to guests throughout this exciting late October time period.

  • Hotel guests staying during World Series dates and the Cavs’ opening date will receive a complimentary in-room gift commemorating the city’s beloved sports of basketball and baseball and creating unique #RCMemories.
