Nestled Between the Aspen Trees Above the Rocky Mountain Resort, Anderson’s Cabin Offers Guests an Unparalleled Dining Experience with a Glimpse into the Past
BEAVER CREEK, Colo. (January 29, 2016) –The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is pleased to introduce Anderson’s Cabin – previously home to one of Bachelor Gulch’s original settlers in the 1900s – as the newest addition to its collection of unique resort experiences. Rich in history and one of the area’s most important landmarks, Anderson’s Cabin will be used exclusively for private dining. From après-ski offerings to sophisticated raclette and fondue dinners, guests and locals alike can host intimate gatherings, celebrations and weddings year-round, and make lasting memories just steps away from the luxurious Rocky Mountain resort.
Anderson’s Cabin is deeply rooted in the history of Bachelor Gulch. It was originally the home of John Anderson, one of the seven bachelors that first settled in the area and gave Bachelor Gulch its namesake. The seven unmarried men logged, trapped and farmed lettuce in Bachelor Gulch from the early 1900s until the Great Depression. Anderson’s Cabin symbolizes Bachelor Gulch’s beginnings and is one of the few remaining log cabins historically owned by a founding bachelor.
Now, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch offers a thoughtful selection of catered culinary offerings for private events of 2-14 guests at Anderson’s Cabin. The cabin’s late afternoon Après-Ski option boasts a gourmet Chili Bar and hand-selected Charcuterie Platters – the perfect chance to pause and enjoy a savory snack after hitting the slopes or hiking along the lush green foliage of Bachelor Gulch. For an evening affair, guests may choose from two elegant dinner experiences overlooking Bachelor Gulch.
The Après-Ski experience offers guests an exciting range of flavors, including a Colorado Cheese & Charcuterie Board; Assorted Breads and Crackers; and Bison Chili with scallions and cheddar cheese.
