New Indoor Lounge offers classic, handcrafted cocktails and wines, Outdoor Designated Smoking Terrace
BEAVER CREEK, Colo. – January 6, 2014 – This winter at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch as part of the resort’s renovations and re-launch, a new lounge has been designed and created for adult hotel guests and local clientele. Soft opening during the busy holidays and grand opening in early January, the Bachelors Lounge is an exclusive escape in the heart of the Rocky Mountains to enjoy classic or handcrafted cocktails and a sommelier-selected wine list. “Bachelors Lounge is a groundbreaking concept for our resort. We identified a need in our community, and have taken the lead in creating an engaging luxury experience for our most discerning guests," said Abdullah Vural, general manager for the resort.
Bachelors Lounge will accommodate year-round seating in a warm, relaxed setting inside, while seating outside in a heated area provides stunning vistas and views of the surrounding mountains and forest. The sultry, contemporary indoor space with modern gas fireplace seats guests to experience handcrafted cocktails, signature spirits and light dining, while an outdoor covered and heated seating area serves as a smoking lounge around a fireplace. Guests can relax and unwind with the finest of company and enjoy a finely imported cigar along with signature spirits and a sommelier-crafted wine list from around the world. The bartenders, sommeliers and mixologists create pairings for guests between cigars, spirits, beer or wine. Live and mixed music will be played nightly with a classics singer and baby grand piano performance on weekend nights.
In addition to a selection of fine imported cigars, a hookah experience with loose tobacco in flavors such as Passion Fruit, Pumpkin Spice, Vanilla, Rose and Orange-Pineapple may be experienced. Guests are encouraged to combine an assortment of aromas while enjoying the custom made hookahs.
