Through a series of interactive and tasty offerings – including a weekly gourmet pig roast, special winemaker series, wildflower-inspired cocktails, a summer pop-up restaurant concept, weekly food and beverage specials, and live mountainside entertainment – the luxury alpine resort is harnessing Colorado’s rich bounty to offer the ultimate Rocky Mountain summer experience.
Weekly Pig Roast Starting July 6, 2016 and held every Wednesday from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Mountainside Terrace, Chef Benjamin Christopher and his culinary team will become barbecue pit-masters and serve up a rustic, family-style feast of roasted pig, complete with craveable comfort foods on the side. Live music will cap off the authentic Rocky Mountain dining experience. $25 per guest.
Summer Winemaker Series Enjoying fine wine in the heart of the Rocky Mountains is an experience not to be missed. The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is welcoming two legendary winemakers this summer to add another layer to the experience:
“Taste Sonoma in the Rockies” with Three Sticks Wines
On Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 5:00 p.m., Bob Cabral, Director of Winemaking at the Three Sticks Wines – known for their Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon – will guide guests through an evening of vintage Sonoma wine tastings paired with culinary delights from Chef Benjamin Christopher. “Celebrate the Judgment of Paris” with Grgich Hills Estate
On Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., Voilet Grgich of Grgich Hills Estate will join guests for an unforgettable celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Judgement of Paris, when the Chardonnay crafted by Mike Grgich won the best of France, proving that incredible Chardonnay can come from outside of France. Wildflower-Inspired Cocktails Guests can enjoy the beauty of Colorado wildflower season in cocktail form with a trio of handcrafted floral cocktails, offered exclusively during summer months in Buffalos. Sample cocktails include a Lavender Cucumber Spritz (lavender, cucumber, lemon, Woody Creek gin, seltzer); Blossoming Bouquet (Ketel One Citroen, white wine, orange blossom water, lemon juice, simple syrup); and Rhubarb Bellini (Moët & Chandon Champagne, St. Germaine elderflower liquor, rhubarb syrup).
Pop-Up Restaurants at The Grill Kicking off on July 8, 2016, the resort will showcase four different Ritz-Carlton and Front Range chefs at its first-ever pop-up restaurant concept. On Fridays and Saturdays in The Grill, guests will be transported to the visiting chef’s restaurant with a three to four-course prix-fixe menu,aimed at bringing a new culinary focus and exciting dining experience to the resort. Guests canexpect a wide range of cooking styles and cuisine, starting with Southern-inspired food with a modern twist from Chef Nathan Hardin of Highball and Harvest at The Ritz-Carlton, Orlando; contemporary farmhouse-style fare from Chef Justin Bronson of Old Major and Masterpiece Kitchen of Denver; creative coastal cuisine from Chef Jay Norris of Jack Dusty at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota; and Asian fusion from Chef Lon Symensma of Denver’s Cholon:
