A 16-year culinary veteran, Martinez brings a wealth of experience and culinary knowledge to his position as Chef de Cuisine. In his current role, he is responsible for creating new and innovative recipes, overseeing and managing the kitchen team and developing and managing all back-of-house business aspects.

Martinez began his career with Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group as a prep cook at the flagship Spago location in Beverly Hills in 1999 and in 2004 was promoted to line cook. Three years later, Martinez was promoted to Sous Chef, where he delegated opening and closing tasks and helped raise standards within the kitchen to assist the team in retaining its two-star rating in the Michelin Guide, Los Angeles edition.

In 2012, Martinez left Spago Beverly Hills and relocated to Las Vegas where he was promoted to Chef de Cuisine of Lupo by Wolfgang Puck at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. During his three years at Lupo, Martinez planned, scheduled, and supervised daily kitchen operations, increased year-to-date net revenue and oversaw the ordering and receiving of inventory.
