Downtown Denver’s Premier Luxury Property Welcomes a Veteran Leader

DENVER, Colo. – July 27, 2015 – The Ritz-Carlton, Denver is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Grant Dipman as General Manager. With 25 years of hospitality experience, Dipman will oversee daily hotel operations which include food and beverage, rooms, finance and sales and marketing divisions.

Dipman joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in 1991 at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island in Florida. Over the next several years, Grant worked his way up the food and beverage discipline in numerous managerial roles, at Amelia Island and The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach. In 1998, he was recruited by Walt Disney Company as Director of Catering & Convention Services for two Orlando area resorts – The Grand Floridian and The Contemporary Resort. He later returned to The Ritz-Carlton brand and successfully continued his career as Director of Catering & Conference Services at two Ritz-Carlton hotels in Atlanta, and later in Naples. Excelling in this discipline, a promotion soon followed to Director of Meetings & Special Events at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas. In 2006, Dipman was promoted to Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia, successfully overseeing and executing the hotel’s $14 million renovation. In 2008, Grant was appointed to General Manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown in Washington DC. He was most recently General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix.

Dipman earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, where he is originally from. He is a proud father of two daughters, is an avid cyclist, and a dog lover. Dipman relocated to Denver in July with his wife Sylvia.
