Employees Extend Urban Peak Volunteer Program Into 2017

DENVER, Colo. – October 31, 2016 – The Ladies and Gentlemen at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver are honored to announce their continuation of service in 2017 to Urban Peak, a non-profit organization offering extensive services for the vulnerable homeless and runaway youth population. Over the past seven years, the property has hired employees through Urban Peak’s Job Readiness Training program, has participated in their annual Career Fair alongside various downtown businesses and many young people have benefitted from clothing and toiletry drives sponsored by the hotel. In addition, one Wednesday morning every month Ladies and Gentlemen volunteer their time at the organization’s shelter as they cook, prepare and serve a ‘Community Breakfast’ to countless youth. To-date, 82 breakfasts have been served by 95 committed team members from the hotel.

Grant Dipman, general manager, recently stated, “The Ladies and Gentlemen at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver are proud to support our city’s youth who really rely on these services provided by Urban Peak and we look forward to delivering on our monthly commitment once again in 2017”.

The Ritz-Carlton, Denver is pleased to give back to the local community by supporting Urban Peak Denver as a part of Community Footprints, the social responsibility program of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company L.L.C. The platform focuses on key humanitarian and environmental programs that positively impact local communities.
