Media and the Public Are Invited for Viewing, Refreshments and Live Musical Entertainment from Members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and John Horn High School Girls’ Choir
The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas will introduce a one-of-a-kind holiday creation on Thursday, December 1, as an enchanting Frozen Winter Wonderland Castle will be unveiled for guests and the public beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Crafted of gingerbread and requiring more than 48 chef-hours to bake, ice and assemble, The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas Frozen Winter Wonderland Castle will be made with approximately 180 pounds of powdered sugar, 110 pounds of fondant, 60 pounds of egg whites, 15 pounds of butter and more. Unveiling of the culinary masterpiece is scheduled to take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with refreshments of hot cider and gingerbread cookies to be provided for those in attendance. The John Horn High School Girls’ Choir and a French horn quartet from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will present live performances during the celebration, and Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for photo ops. Additionally, The Ritz-Carlton Holiday Market will be open for shoppers seeking unique holiday gifts, including exquisite, hand-painted chocolate bonbons created by The Ritz-Carlton pastry team.
Cameras are welcome, and event admission and parking are complimentary.
