Vegetarian Tortilla Soup, No-Meat Street Tacos and Tofu Grilled Over Live Mesquite Highlight Added Lunch/Dinner Selections

DALLAS, TX – August 28, 2017 -- Fearing’s Restaurant has introduced a new all-vegetarian menu for lunch and dinner guests, allowing them to savor menu favorites with vegetarian preparations. The added menu was inspired by frequent diners who love the restaurant’s Bold Flavors/No Borders cuisine and seek to experience it in a veggie version.

“I’ve always believed in giving diners what they want, the way they want it,” said chef/partner Dean Fearing. “Vegetarian guests deserve to have a Bold Flavors/No Borders option that meets their dietary requirements but that also offers more just a couple of starred vegetarian items on a main menu. So we’ve created a complete, standalone selection of meat-free starters and main courses, and people honestly can’t believe it when they try them. We spent a long time perfecting these recipes so that they really do offer a true taste of Fearing’s.”

The new vegetarian menu features four starters and four main courses, as follows:

---Amelia’s Farm Tomato Salad with Sherry Vinaigrette, Mustard Frills and Crispy Poached Egg

MAIN COURSE

---Jalapeño/Spinach Ranchero Enchilada, Butternut Squash Taquito with Yellow Tomato Pico de Gallo, and Mexican Corn Gratin with Baja Avocado Fries

---Herb Ricotta Agnolotti with Summer Bean Sauté, Caramelized Purplette Onions and Meyer Lemon Sabayon

---Corn Tamales Filled with Black Bean Fiesta Salad on Warm Yellow Tomato Salsa and Guajillo Sauce with House Pickled Escabeche Vegetables

---Jerk-Spiced Tofu Grilled over Live Mesquite on Black Bean Purée with Jamaican Ginger Rice, Sweet Plantains and Voodoo Peppers
