Local Favorites Gary and Hayley Hamilton Cogill to Lead the Festivities

DALLAS, Texas – April 27, 2017 -- When Fearing’s Restaurant presented its first Live Oak Session last month, the event’s immediate sellout and enthusiastic crowd pointed to a promising new tradition for Uptown. On May 17, the next Live Oak Session will take place -- again focused on movies, but this time with the added component of paired wines and shared hilarity inspired by flubs from some of Hollywood’s most famous creations.

Led by noted Dallas Sommelier Hayley Hamilton Cogill and Emmy Award-winning film critic Gary Cogill, “Film Flubs and Fabulous Wines” will feature clips of some of the craziest mistakes in film that made it through to the final cut.  The Cogills will welcome guests with sparkling wine, followed by four rounds of clips from North by Northwest to Goodfellas – and the pouring of wines from regions the movies were set. Further wines and movie flubs will amuse and delight, as the audience enjoys conversation and clips from Forrest Gump, Star Wars, Pretty Woman, The Wizard of Oz, It’s A Wonderful Life, Beauty and the Beast, E.T., Titanic, Austin Powers, Bull Durham, Spiderman, Days of Thunder and more.
