The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest brings back the tradition of the wacky race

BUDAPEST, 8 September 2017 – The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest is reviving the tradition of the popular Waiters’ Run, and is organizing the race again on 12th of September for the waiters of the surrounding restaurants and hotels of the beautiful Hungarian capital city.

It will be the 11th time that waiters will compete against each other in this unique race, where every contestant holds a tray with glasses and has to run 1.5 kilometres on the imaginary race track between The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest’s Deák St. Kitchen restaurant and the river bank of the Danube.

Waiters can apply for the race at the hotel or via until the day of the competition. Winners of the categories – ladies and gentlemen will compete in separate categories - will be awarded with valuable prizes. All entry fees are donated to Csodalámpa Foundation.

The Waiters’ Run starts at 3 PM on 12th September. Registration is open until 2.30 PM.
