The Ritz-Carlton Club Level

The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge redefines the luxury hotel experience, combining intimacy, comfort and exclusivity with the personalized service and attention to detail that are the hallmarks of The Ritz-Carlton. This oasis is often referred to as a hotel within a hotel, in a well-appointed, relaxed lounge environment. Distinctive Club Level amenities include extended breakfast, light fare lunch, hors d'oeuvres, delicious desserts and complimentary beverage service including wine and spirits. It's all served in the comfort of the elegant exclusive and private Club Lounge.

The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge is open from 6.30 to 10 p.m. An exciting assortment of food presentations designed to tempt you and an addition of complimentary refreshments are served throughout the day.

Breakfast – 6.30 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Lunch – 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Afternoon Tea and Light Snacks – 2.30 p.m. - 4.30 p.m.
Evening Hors d’Oeuvres – 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

ALLURING WINES OF HUNGARY

At the Club Lounge guests will enjoy a wide selection of flavorful wines from the built in wine vault from intriguing Hungarian wine regions such as Villány, Szekszárd and the Balaton region. Guests can awaken their senses and their inner wine connoisseur while sipping on white, rosé, red or cuvee wines from the best Hungarian wineries in the comfort of the exclusive setting.    

CHEESE PLATTER

The signature style lounge features a cheese presentation of artisan crafted cheeses produced by a Hungarian family business called Zsendice. The establishment focuses on preserving and carrying on the old techniques of cheese cultivation while producing top quality organic cheeses. Guests have the opportunity to taste a variety of delicacies such as herbed goat cheese, red wine aged cheese and smoked beech cheese during the morning and evening hours.

MEAT SELECTION

The Club Lounge breakfast features a range of delicious mangalica products, a healthier alternative to regular pork. The famous Hungarian heritage breed is loved for its flavorful meat. As part of the food presentation guests can taste a variety of mangalica products such as ham, sausages and a variety of salamis.  

A SWEET START TO YOUR DAY

Hungarian honey is known for its supreme quality worldwide. Club guests are offered an organic selection of acacia, wildflower and silk grass honey as a sweet addition to their club experience. Furthermore they are invited to try out homemade jams and preserves during breakfast hours prepared by our extraordinary culinary team.  

SOPHISTICATED MEETINGS

Within the Club Lounge, The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest offers a private, elegant and refined meeting room to club guests. The meeting space matches the intimate atmosphere of the lounge and is designed with soothing colors and contemporary art by local artists. The space is the ultimate choice for a successful meeting for high end clients.

A Winetasting to Remember

Club Lounge attendant, Anna found out that a guest and his mother were both visiting Europe for the first time. The guests travelled all the way from California to see a number of European capitals, Budapest being one of them. Upon escorting the guests to their room she learned that they were wine-lovers, which inspired her to create a unique experience for them. Fully committed to make the guests’ stay memorable, she found a way to connect a well-known grape called Zinfadel, harvested in California, with a local one called Cirfandli based on the resemblance in taste.

She wanted to share this information with the guests in a special way so with the help of the Club Lounge Team she surprised them by turning the lounge meeting space into a private wine tasting. She printed a map of Hungary, marked the 22 different wine regions, and explained the characteristics of each, while the guests enjoyed the variety of local wines. Upon checkout the lady mentioned how greatly touched they were by the team’s dedication and the personalized attention they received. They hugged Anna goodbye and said they would highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest as a destination to their friends.  A few months later, friends of the guests checked into the hotel.
