From December 1 to 3, 2017, the fully renovated boutique hotel will highlight a selection of specialties in its exceptional Christmas market.

The Ritz-Carlton Hôtel de la Paix, Geneva, fully renovated this year, will open its doors to the Geneva public and visitors to the region during the first weekend of December to celebrate the holiday season.

In its new decor combining subtle tradition and modernity, the establishment will offer a tasty and bright Nordic-like Christmas market. Floral arrangements, scented candles, stuffed animals and, most importantly, a chocolate fountain and caviar and aquavit minute station: the artisan products exclusively displayed will appeal to adults and children alike.

The hotel’s specialties
Visitors will be able to discover the hotel’s culinary specialties, created by the chef Alessio Corda, in particular his mythical foie gras and hare pie or grape marinated scones, which contribute to the success of the Afternoon Tea in the Living Room Bar & Kitchen. Finally, the Fiskebar, the first Nordic-inspired restaurant in Geneva, will highlight a selection of refined artisan products: pickles, caviar on blinis, smoked char fish, etc.

The hotel will also offer a wide range of exclusive products: black fig candles and home fragrances, plus stuffed animals for children.

Philippe Pascoët signature treats

A Genevan institution, the master chocolatier Philippe Pascoët, originally from Brittany, knows how to merge wonderfully surprising flavors for chocolate lovers’ greatest delight. The master will present his most exquisite unions based on basil, rosemary, coriander or sage, in his shop located within the hotel lobby.

Exceptional floral arrangements

The florist Rémy Jaggi will exhibit a selection of his most beautiful arrangements as well as vases and decorative elements, made in Trelex, near Nyon. For more than six years, the artist and his team have been adapting to the seasons and the requirements of their clients to imagine spectacular and personalized arrangements.

Natural wines of the region

Throughout the weekend, visitors can discover the natural wines of the Maison du Moulin. The winemaker-oenologist Yannick Passas works passionately and respects the soils of the Coastal region (between Geneva and Lausanne), such that they transmit the fruit, minerality and unsuspected flavors to its grape varieties.

Support for the Geneva Red Cross

The Geneva Red Cross, a longtime partner of the hotel, will also sell some products from its agricultural fields in Troinex: jars of cardoons, herbal teas, aromatic oils, etc. All sales will be donated to the "Inserres" program, whose primary mission is to help estranged young people to reintegrate.

If you are looking for exclusive and unique gifts, or simply an enchanted stroll during the weekend, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix Geneva and its partners will meet young and old in a warm atmosphere as the holidays approach.

Friday, December 1, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
Saturday and Sunday, December 2 and 3, 2017 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
