In 2011 Global Sales Office in Russia was expanded due to enlargement of the number of hotels and the increased attention on the Russian market. A year later Mrs. Leonenko was promoted to Regional Director of Marriott International in Eastern Europe, Russia and other countries with developing markets. The unification of already existing offices in Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Kiev, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Kazan helped consolidate the efforts initiated in solving strategic tasks that are common for Eastern European countries.
Prior to joining The Ritz -Carlton, Moscow, Oxana led the integration of Global Sales Offices in Eastern Europe that was related to the purchase of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
In addition, Oxana is one of the founders and former member of the Russian department of International Business Travel Association (2013-2015).
Oxana Leonenko cites: “The possibility to cooperate with a large number of clients was the main benefit of working in the Global Sales Office. We could offer a client a wide variety of hotels with absolutely different pricing, brands, and countries, depending on chosen directions, requirements, and wishes. After 8 intensive years of working for GSO, I would like to concentrate on only one hotel. My motto - everything that seems to be impossible is possible - perfectly fits with this new step in my career.”
