How do I arrange my wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow?
Our wedding professionals will organize and coordinate all aspects of your wedding ceremony and reception to help create your vision, including:

  • Act as the liaison between you and Hotel operations staff, turn all your dreams into reality. 
  • Assist you in selecting and reserving the venue for the event, along with the group block should your guests be travelling from out of town. 
  • Personally oversee the details of the bride and groom’s room reservations (if applicable). 
  • Act as menu consultant for your food and beverage selections. 
    Recommend Special Event Professionals to provide wedding coordination, entertainment program, flower decorations, photography, invitations and amenities. 
  • Develop a Catering Agreement specifying the details of the event and parties commitments. 
  • Confirm call times and details with all vendors the Hotel recommended several days prior to the wedding day. 
  • Detail your Banquet Event Order outlining all of your event specifics to ensure that all information is communicated successfully to the operational team of the Hotel. 
  • Create an estimate of charges outlining your financial commitments and deposit schedule. 
  • Ensure a seamless transition to the Banquet Captain on the day of your event.


What does The Ritz-Carlton provide for weddings and receptions?
The Ritz-Carlton provides all food and beverages, tables and chairs, table linens, silverware and glasses, dance floor, and staging for your event. The rental of a ceremony location includes venue set-up.

What other services or items can The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow provide for my event?

It is our pleasure to also provide a wide range of special services to include the rental of special banquet furniture, glassware and textile, production of table seating plan and name cards for the event, development of wedding movie and many others. Costs for all items vary.

May I take wedding pictures at The Ritz-Carlton if my wedding is to be held elsewhere?

Our Guest Relations Butler will be pleased to escort you through the hotel for the best photo locations at 15,000 RUB per hour for outside guests and 7,500 RUB for in-house guests. Please note that the service must be reserved in advance.

How far in advance should I reserve the date?
Although The Ritz-Carlton often fills the most popular dates as far as one year in advance, other dates are typically available with less notice. Contact the hotel for more information about available dates.

What do I need to know before contacting the hotel?
You should know the estimated number of guests, a date, and an approximate budget for your event. If possible, choose a few alternate dates in case your first choice is not available.

Is there parking available for the guests?
Extensive parking for over 300 cars is available at The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow. It is charged at 250 Rubles per hour.

How do I arrange for flowers?

Our in-house florist will prepare a range of seasonal arrangements, arches, centerpieces, bouquets, headdresses, corsages and button-holes.

What are the deposits based on and when are they due?

Deposits are based on anywhere from 25% - 100% of the combined food and beverage minimum, plus the rental fees for the event space reserved. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

When is the final payment due?
The final full payment for all Hotel services is due one week before the event at the latest. The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow requires full pre-payment for all events. Should additional orders be made on the spot, they must be settled with cash or credit card payment.

How do I choose the food for my wedding reception?
Whether your reception is an intimate dinner or a lavish gathering, we offer a range of cuisines. From hors d’oeuvres and champagne cocktails to optional stations and gourmet buffets or formal dinners with plated selections and synchronized service, all options are catered. Your wedding professional will assist you with choosing from our extensive menu.

What is the cost per person for food?

Based on our current banquet menus, on average you may expect to spend starting from 5,200 Rubles for a dinner menu with a selection of cold appetizers on the table, plated service of hot appetizer, main course, and wedding cake. The rate excludes Value Added Tax.

Please be aware that our menu items and pricing are subject to change and are guaranteed 30 days in advance. Your final menu pricing will be based on what you actually select.

Can food be brought in from the outside?

All events at The Ritz-Carlton are catered by our exceptional culinary team. If a Kosher Caterer is required the hotel works with a number of reputable local purveyors.

My partner and I have different tastes, can we have menus with various choices?
Our Catering and Banquet teams can help you customize your reception and dinner to meet the tastes of all parties.

Please explain the food and beverage minimum.
The food and beverage minimum is the least amount of money that you are required to spend on a combination of food and beverage, excluding Value Added Tax, but it is not all that you could spend. The food and beverage minimum is reached by selecting individually priced menu options and beverages to equal or exceed the required Rubles figure.

The following examples would apply towards the food and beverage minimum:


Hors d’oeuvres, food display and carving stations, plated or buffet meal, wedding cake, dessert display stations, alcoholic beverage service with the meal and any non-alcoholic beverages.

Rental fee, audio-visual equipment, centerpieces, upgraded
linens/china/silverware, décor, would not apply towards the food and beverage minimum.

When do I need to finalize my menu?
Food and beverage selections must be finalized and confirmed with your Catering Sales Manager two weeks prior to the date of your wedding at the latest.

When do I need to let the hotel know exactly how many guests will be attending my event?
The Catering Department must be notified of the exact number of guests attending a function at least 72 working hours prior to the start of the event. This will be considered a guarantee, for which you will be charged, even if fewer guests attend the event.

Should I have some guests who did not notify about their vegetarian preferences in advance, will the Hotel offer a solution?
Our creative and flexible Culinary team will come up with vegetarian menus on the spot, should there be a few guests with special dietary requirements.

Do the bride and groom get a special room rate for the wedding night?
The Hotel is pleased to extend a special room rate for the bride and groom based on the cost of the wedding reception.

Where does the bridal party get ready before the wedding?
We recommend guestroom reservations be made for a minimum two night length of stay with a check-in date of the night before the wedding and checkout the day after the wedding. This will eliminate the stress on the day of the wedding.


The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow features a beautiful spa by ESPA which welcomes the guests for relaxation, health and beauty.

Does the hotel offer a discounted room block?
If you wish to reserve a block of rooms for your family and guests, please notify your Catering Sales Manager who can provide you with availability and rates for up to nine guestrooms. Ten guestrooms or more require a Group Sales Agreement, where 100% of the guestroom and current Value Added Tax must be paid in full upon the signing of the contract.

Please note our check in time is 3 p.m. and check out is 12 p.m.

May I use outside vendors?
You may use outside vendors for your entertainment program, dress, bouquets, cards and gifts.

Your Catering Sales Manager will be pleased to offer a list of preferred vendors.
