Vienna, February 2018 – On the 20th of February 2018, the Forbes Travel Guide has revealed the 2018 Star Award winners. This year marks the 60th annual list of the world’s best hotels, restaurants and spas and is the largest one yet, as the Forbes Travel Guide has expanded their ratings into new destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Chengdu, Hokkaido, Marrakech, Sanya and Vienna. Just on time for the 60th birthday, Forbes Travel Guide is now in 50 countries.
Known as the home of Klimt, Mozart and Freud, Vienna now boasts some of Europe’s leading contemporary art galleries, exclusive fashion outlets, internationally acclaimed restaurants and trendy cocktail bars.
And tourists are taking note. The city experienced its most successful year yet — in 2017, hotel overnight stays in Vienna boosted to more than 15.5 million, a 3.7 percent increase from the previous year, according to the Vienna Tourism Board. Vienna offers a great selection of different hotels, but the 2018 Star Ratings awards revealed four Four-Star properties that are sure to make your vacation in Vienna a memorable experience.
