Of course, the number eight has a storied legacy in the world of sports and games as well; it serves as the pivotal target in Eight Ball and has been worn by legendary, baseball Hall of Famers like Yogi Berra, Carl Yastrzemski, Willie Stargell and Cal Ripken, Jr.

Eight is open Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday from noon to midnight. When games last later, the bar remains open. As one of the top Amelia Island bars, Eight is the perfect venue for the 21-and over crowd.
