S.S. Amelia Gingerbread Pirate Ship Arrives

Wednesday, November 22

The Gingerbread Pirate Ship returns to the resort lobby with pirate characters sculpted from chocolate. A holiday icon, the Gingerbread Pirate Ship provides the perfect backdrop for your holiday picture and is a highly anticipated tradition.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

November 22 | 5:30 p.m.

Thousands of sparkling lights brighten the night as visitors and islanders gather for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Enjoy refreshments and entertainment from The Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival Brass Quintet. Festivities conclude with Santa’s arrival and fireworks.

Santa’s Magical Dinner

Wednesday, November 22 | 6:30 p.m.

Join Santa Claus along with his elves after the tree lighting ceremony for a new holiday wonderland experience, including appearances from Santa’s special guests. Santa’s Magical Dinner menu includes citrus shrimp, honey glazed ham, flank steak, chicken and a children’s buffet. Also included is a picture with Mr. & Mrs. Claus. Reservations requested. 

Price: $59 per adult and $29 for children age 5-12, including service charge


Thanksgiving Grand Feast

Thursday, November 23rd | 12 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Celebrate Thanksgiving with an elaborate culinary presentation of traditional Thanksgiving favorites accompanied by live jazz music. The scrumptious buffet includes citrus poached shrimp, shrimp and grits, roasted turkey, honey glazed ham, beef medallions and a mouthwatering array of desserts. Children will enjoy cookie decorating and holiday-inspired crafts and games. Reservations requested.

Price: $110 per adult and $45 for children age 5-12, including service charge


Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, November 25th, December 2nd, 9th and 16th | 8:30 a.m.

Join us for a beloved holiday tradition: Breakfast with Santa. Children delight in whispering their holiday wishes to Santa and parents can cherish their keepsake picture. Young and old will feast on breakfast favorites including a pancake station with fun toppings, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast breads, ham and cheese croissants, an array of delectable breakfast pastries and a holiday cookie station. Reservations requested.

Price: $42 per adult and child ages 6 and up and $25 children ages 3-5

Santa’s Storybook Tea

Saturday, November 25th, December 2nd, 9th and 16th | 12 p.m.

This Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island tradition includes a fireside holiday storybook read by Santa plus an afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, pastries, candy and cakes. Reservations requested.

Price: $55 per adult and child ages 6 and up and $25 for children ages 3-5


Santa Tuck-Ins

Fridays and Saturdays beginning November 24th until December 23rd | 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Children will thrill to experience an exciting visit from Santa as he brings cookies and milk, reads a holiday story and presents a gift for the child. Reservations required.

Price: $50 for the first child and $35 for each additional child

New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve Black & White Gala
Saturday, December 31st | 9 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Welcome the New Year in style as The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island celebrates the Sixth Annual New Year’s Black & White Gala with luxurious food buffets including a seafood ice bar, sushi station, living salad station, antipasti and appetizers. This is Northern Florida’s most elegant and entertaining New Year’s Eve Party. You’ll enjoy cooking stations serving seared scallops, lobster, lamb loin, braised short ribs and a scrumptious display of desserts. Dance all night with live music from Papa Sol and enjoy an open bar and fireworks with a champagne toast. Black & White attire is encouraged. Masks are provided or you can bring your own. Reservations required.

Price: $225 per adult, if tickets are purchased before November 30. After November 30, ticket price will be $250. Price includes service charge.
