Amelia Island, FL (March 6, 2018)The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island invites guests of all ages to hop, skip and spring into creating their own #RCMemories during a week-long celebration of Easter and a season-long celebration of Spring in all of its colorful brilliance. Everyone can enjoy festive celebrations like the Pirate Party, giant Instagram-worthy chocolate eggs and bunnies adorning Cottontail Tea tables or savoring the thousands of hand-made sweets, tarts, cakes and cookies and edible decorations at Easter Garden Brunch as created by the pastry team led by Executive Pastry Chef Sheldon Millet. “Spring is special to me. The creativity of our kitchen really blooms at Easter with giant chocolate showpieces, jumbo golden-chocolate eggs and edible flowers.  At Easter, everyone gets to eat their favorite dessert,” explains chef. “There’s something delicious for everyone.”

Families will delight in having breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Easter Bunny Breakfast, complete with keepsake photo. A complete buffet with breakfast favorites including a pancake station with a variety of fun toppings, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, house-made breads, ham and cheese croissants a dazzling array of breakfast pastries. Served in Salt, breakfast starts at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 31. The price is $40 per person for ages 6 and up and $25 per child ages 5 and younger. Advance reservations are required.

One of the highlights of Easter, the charming tradition of afternoon tea is elevated to new heights at
The Cottontail Tea Party.  Helping to create children’s first #RCMemories, The Easter Bunny and Springtime Fairy host guests for a menu of flavorful petite sandwiches and sweets including salted caramel cupcakes, s’more chocolate mousse, raspberry lemon scones, vanilla crème brûlée, orange cheesecake and chocolate peanut butter mousse. Children are encouraged to dress in Easter attire and to bring parents and grandparents who can enjoy a complimentary souvenir photo. The tea is open to the public on Saturday, March 31st at 11:30 a.m. The price is $55 per person for ages 6 and up, $25 per child 5 and younger, inclusive of service charge.  Advance reservations are required.

On Easter Sunday, April 1st, enjoy the lavish and spectacular Ritz-Carlton Easter Garden Brunch in the classic Ritz-Carlton Ballroom.  The menu includes traditional brunch favorites along with an elaborate chilled seafood display, Prime Rib, grilled lamb chops, quiche Florentine, local fish, shrimp and grits, roasted lamb chop and Chef Sheldon Millet’s ultimate dessert station. The afternoon is brought to life with live music and younger guests will enjoy cookie decorating and a visit from the Easter Bunny and Springtime Fairy. The brunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Price is $110 per person for ages 13 and up and $45 children ages 5-12. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 904-277-1100.

Adventure is served with a side of pirates on Saturday, March 31st at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island’s famed Pirate Party. Families can join the pirate captain and his swashbuckling crew for a feast of beef, grilled chicken, local fish and kids’ favorites as they enjoy buccaneer-themed activities and a keepsake photo. Price is $49 per person ages 13 and older, and $25 per child ages 3-12 and is part of the resort kids’ meal plan option.
