Two brunches pay tribute to Moms on Mother’s Day

Salt Mother’s Day Brunch, a Gastronomic Feast

Amelia Island, FL (April 27, 2016) - Salt is offering a luxurious, fine dining Mother’s Day Brunch that pays tribute to Mothers. Chef de Cuisine, Rick Laughlin is preparing a gastronomic feast that features caviar, fresh salads, Mayport shrimp, sushi, striped bass, stuffed pork tenderloin, diver scallops and skirt steak. The menu also includes many action stations including wood grilled prime rib, house made tagliatelle pasta, a soufflé station and omelet station. The brunch, accompanied by live music and a scrumptious display of individual and petite desserts in an oceanfront setting for an occasion that Mom will always remember.  The Salt Brunch at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island is offered from 11a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The price is $145 per adult; $48 per child ages 5 to 12, plus gratuity. Coast Offers a Coastal Inspired Brunch

Coast is offering a Mother’s Day feast that the whole family will enjoy. From 6:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m., Coast will be serving its daily menu including the southern breakfast buffet with house-made sticky buns and made to order omelets along with other breakfast favorites. A special plated 3 course brunch will be offered to celebrate mom with a menu inspired by fresh seasonal ingredients from regional farms and local fishermen. All of Mom’s favorite foods will be served − fresh from the farm salads, crab cake Benedict, chicken & waffles, cherry plank salmon, barbeque short ribs and grits, fresh from the dock local fish and an array of delectable desserts. Brunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The price is $55 per adult; $18 per child ages 5 to 12. Advance reservations required.
