As you prepare to unwind at our day spa in Fort Lauderdale, we want to put your mind completely at ease by making sure all your questions are answered ahead of time. Refer to our list of frequently asked questions about our luxury spa’s policies, treatments and services.
 

Is there a minimum age for treatments?
Guests of The Spa and Fitness Center must be at least 18 years of age to receive facials, body treatments or massages. Minors five to 15 years of age may receive manicures, pedicures and makeup application under the condition that a parent or guardian must be in the treatment room. Salon services are available for guests of all ages. A variety of children's activities are available through the resort's Kid’s activities program for overnight guests.

What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.

What is the cancellation policy?
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties require a 24-hour notice. A credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments.

What about payment for Spa services?
We accept all major credit cards and traveler's checks. You may also charge Spa services to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is also accepted prior to your treatments, upon request.

What about gratuities?
With your permission, a 20% service charge will be added for each spa service you receive. If services were satisfactory, please feel free to leave additional gratuity which will be distributed to the Spa staff who served you during your visit.
 

What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify our Spa Reservation Department before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.

What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa Desk Agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.
 

How can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made by calling (954) 465-2300 or by requesting a service.

Who can guide me in choosing my treatments?
Our Spa Reservation Department will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order for your treatments.

When should I arrive?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 25 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you to relax in our lounge.

What about my jewelry and valuables?
If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guestroom. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the spa facility.

Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two (2) hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.
 

What should I wear during my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing; however, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Before and after your treatment, robes and slippers are provided in lockers in the men's and women's lounges.

What about my comfort?
This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify us of any discomforts or preferences. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in The Spa.

Is there a reduced valet parking fee?
Complimentary valet parking for up to two hours available with validation from The Spa and $5 valet parking after two hours with a Spa validation.
 

What are the hours of operation?
Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
