The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes Organizes a True American Celebration With a DJ, Treats, Prizes and More!
ORLANDO, FLORIDA – June 24, 2016 – The Fourth of July is a time for family, friends, and barbecue. This year, gather friends and family and let Highball & Harvest, the signature farm-to-table restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, do the grilling for you while you enjoy entertainment, finger-licking good food, and family-friendly fun.
The festivities begin July 4 at 6 p.m. when guests arrive at the handsomely stylish restaurant to the sounds of live DJ entertainment. As the music sets the tone for the evening, guests will encounter a variety of mouthwatering stations, including those for popcorn (with toppings), cotton candy, and cupcake decorating. The adults will be sure to stop by the craft beer station, too.
Complementing these gastronomic enticements is the evening’s menu, which emphasizes southern BBQ specialties like slow smoked brisket, saltcrusted red snapper and beer-can chicken. Guests can also fill their plates with kale salad, grilled corn, and watermelon salad while kids enjoy a special menu of chicken tenders, pizza, and veggies.
The Bacon Bar, meanwhile, demands more than one visit with offerings like bacon-wrapped apricots, pork belly sliders and chocolate-covered bacon.
To complement the enticing menu, each guest will enjoy two complimentary drink tickets for Florida craft beers, cask wines, and handcrafted cocktails.
While Highball & Harvest promises a palate-pleasing evening, the menu is just one of many attractions. Guests will also partake of games like a watermelon-eating competition, corn hole, and life-size Jenga, while the kids will enjoy Ritz Kids activities and competitions like tug-of-war and three-legged races. Little ones can also expend some of their energy in the bounce house, while both adults and kids have the chance to win prizes throughout the evening.
At 9 p.m., the celebration will conclude with a fireworks display as lavish as the luxury hotel itself. Between the food, the fun, and the fireworks, Independence Day may just become your favorite holiday of the year, and a great way to spend time with the whole family. Reserve your space today, and call 407-393-4648.
Tickets are $69 for adults and $30 for children ages 12 and under, not including tax and gratuity. Reservations are required. For more information, click here.
