Your guide for exploring winter activities on Lake Oconee

Day 1

Head down to Georgia’s Bistro for breakfast, filled with snuggle bread and s’more waffles, the best way to start your weekend adventure.

Stop by the Concierge desk and meet our Resort Ambassador, Dooley. He loves to show guests a few of his favorite tricks.

At 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., jump on the Linger Longer Express for a 10-minute ride on this one-of-a-kind, eco-efficient locomotive for a new way to tour the property.

Gaby’s by the Lake is a great lunch location, with amazing views of Lake Oconee. Kids have their own specialty mocktail such as the Dooley’s Dog Bowl.

It may be cold outside but that does not mean your cannot enjoy an afternoon swim in our Spa’s indoor pool for Family Swim time from 3 - 8 p.m.

With our Ritz-Kids “Kids Night Out” program, younger guests can  enjoy a night filled with games, arts and crafts, dinner, light refreshments and much more, all centered around a special theme for the night.

Every night, we gather around the campfire at 8 p.m. to roast s’mores.

Day 2

No need to leave the room when you can have breakfast in your pajamas with our In-Room Dining services.

Stop by the Concierge desk to pick up your map of the resort, a perfect resource for either biking or hiking around the resort.

Cast your reel on our floating docks. This is a perfect time of year to catch a striper fish. The afternoon is also a perfect time to explore the lake by canoe.

Linger Longer Steakhouse is a culinary experience, even for our younger guests. Make sure to save room for our famous soufflés for dessert. There is also a fun surprise delivered to your table after the meal.

Inspired by the myths and legends of the Creek tribes found along the Oconee; our Leave Your Trace signature experience brings the outdoors indoors with crafting kits, legend books to take home, and a customized tepee.

A great way to spend your last night at the resort is tucked in bed with an In-Room Movie and discuss your favorite #RCMemories from the trip.
