Annual Lighting at the Lake and Live Entertainment Featuring Matt Wertz

Wednesday, November 22, 2017 starting at 6 p.m.

Join us as we officially launch the holiday season with the resort’s annual “Lighting at the Lake” along with an evening of entertainment featuring Matt Wertz. Singer and songwriter Wertz will perform holiday favorites from his album Snow Globe, with his signature acoustic style while adding a little holiday flare.  Combined with the resorts gorgeous holiday setting, it promises to be a relaxed and fun evening for everyone.  We are grateful for our returning guests and look forward to meeting those of you joining us for the first time.

Thanksgiving Brunch

Celebrate the holiday together with your family with Thanksgiving favorites.  Reservations are available the first seating 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the second at seating 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. priced at $85 per adult and $48 per child, ages 4-12. Ice Skating Rink

Our beautiful 6,000-square-foot Ice Rink in The Forest will open Wednesday, November 22 at 4 p.m.  Invigorating exercise and fun are topped off with hot cocoa or hot apple cider.  Skating will be available daily through January 8, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. Ice Skating is complimentary for all Hotel guests within the Resort Fee.

Ritz Kids Night Out - Elves in Training

Friday, November 24 and Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 6 p.m.

Gather with The Ritz-Carlton elves for an evening filled with Christmas games, festive dinner, holiday snacks and a special toy created by our elves. Space is limited and reservations are required, so please dial 706.467.7130 to secure your reservation. The cost is $75 per child and includes dinner.

Elf Tuck-ins with Special Treats

Friday, November 24 and Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 7 p.m.

Children will be treated to a holiday book reading in their guestrooms at bedtime and receive a copy of a Santa-autographed copy of either T’was the Night Before Christmas or Dooley’s Crew favorite holiday book, How to Catch an Elf. Milk and cookies will complete the evening before they’re snuggled into their beds for a good night’s sleep. Space is limited and reservations are required; please dial 706.467.7130. The cost is $45 per guestroom.

Story Time with Mrs. Claus

Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1 p.m.

The most lovable lady of the season will charm little ones with classic Christmas tales throughout the holidays. Santa’s Helpers will also deliver holiday surprises. This experience is complimentary to all hotel guests.

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

Children of all ages will delight in attending Breakfast with Santa where your child's wish list can be shared with him personally.  Young guests will enjoy a breakfast buffet featuring miniature pancakes, muffins, waffles and other pint-sized breakfast items.  Families will also receive one complimentary 5x7 inch photo with Santa.  Reservations are required and priced $48 per adult and $28 per child, ages 4 to 12.  Children under the age of 3 are complimentary.  Please call our Restaurant Coordinator at 706.467.7059 to secure your reservation.

Gingerbread Workshop

Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Join Mrs. Claus and her elves in building a Gingerbread house.  She will supply guests the pre-built house, candy, icing, and a box in which to take your creation home.  Guests will also enjoy cookies, hot chocolate and cider. S’mores Softening Pedicure
This toasty pedicure combines a chocolate mask that acts as skin softener and finishes with a marshmallow butter to soften and hydrate dry skin.

50 -minutes, $85

Pumpkin Enzyme Body Wrap
Enzyme rich pumpkin and yam puree combine to exfoliate and refine skin from neck to toe. After the skin is softened, a rich pumpkin purée is applied to deeply nourish and revitalize while a scalp treatment relaxes you further. This treatment will conclude with a rinse in our Vichy Rain Shower.
