Live music, barbecue, lake activities and more on deck for Father’s Day at Lake Oconee resort
GREENSBORO, GA – May 18, 2016 – The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, an AAA, Five-Diamond resort located on the shores of Lake Oconee, Ga., will offer an enhanced catalogue of activities and events this Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19. Celebrate your dad’s special day with some of his favorite things, from golf to barbecue and much more.
To start the day, guests can treat their dads to a variety of lake activities including boating, jet-skiing, professional guided fishing excursions and lake tours. For the golf-loving dad, The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee also boasts five signature world-class golf courses, including The Landing, The National and Great Waters. At The Reynolds Kingdom of Golf Presented by TaylorMade, a state-of-the-art club fitting facility, dad can enjoy a complete and comprehensive one-on-one session with a TaylorMade Master Clubfitter for the golf club of his dreams.
After participating in outdoor activities, indulge in lunch at Gaby’s by the Lake or Linger Longer Steakhouse and then send dad to the resort’s luxury spa for one of the signature men’s treatments. The Men’s Face Treatment is especially designed for men using the ESPA men’s line and combines a relaxing shoulder, neck, face and scalp massage with a tailored solution to individual concerns. Or, dad can opt for the Gents’ Place, a private room offering shaves with old-fashioned steel razors, shoe shines, mustache trims, haircuts and nail grooming. Complimentary tastings of bourbons including the resort’s exclusive, small-batch Woodford Reserve blend, are available for guests to savor during any 50- or 80- minute service. The room also features a large, flat-screen television set to dad’s favorite sports game or program. Whiskey-inspired treatments names – like “On the Rocks” deluxe straight-edge shave and the “Old Fashioned” haircut – enhance the masculine identity of the space and offerings.
