Lighting at the Lake
November 22, 2017 starting at 6 p.m.
Kick off the holiday season with the resort’s annual “Lighting at the Lake” along with an evening of entertainment featuring singer and songwriter Matt Wertz. Enjoy holiday favorites from Matt’s album Snow Globe, combining his signature acoustic style while adding holiday flair. The resort and its grand Christmas tree are lit with thousands of lights to bringing holiday cheer to Lake Oconee. Attendees may even receive a visit from Kris Kringle himself to ring in the season!
Ice Skating Rink
November 22, 2017 to January 8, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m.
Back for another season, guest’s can take part in the resort’s annual tradition, whether racing on skates or lounging rink side sipping hot cocoa and apple cider. Located in The Forest, the 6,000 square-foot ice rink is a complimentary experience included in the resort fee and available to hotel guests of all ages.
Caroling on the Linger Longer Express
Departs daily in December at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Straight from the North Pole, the Linger Longer Express is decked out and ready for carolers of all ages to hop aboard and sing along to Christmas classics each day. Spread holiday cheer throughout the resort by singing “Jingle Bells,” “Frosty the Snowman” and many more holiday favorites.
Ritz Kids Night Out – Elves in Training
December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15-23, 2017 at 6 p.m.
Through The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee’s celebrated Ritz Kids program, the resort’s youngest guests can spend an evening with The Ritz-Carlton elves for a night filled with Christmas games, a festive dinner, holiday snacks and special toys to take home created by the elves themselves straight from the North Pole. The cost is $75 per child and includes dinner.
Story Time with Mrs. Claus
December 2, 9, 16, 17, 2017 at 1 p.m.
While Santa is busy at the North Pole preparing for the big night, the most loveable lady of the season will charm little ones with classic Christmas tales throughout the holidays. The afternoon is complete when Santa’s special helpers deliver holiday surprises to all in attendance. Story time is complimentary for all resort guests.
Elf Tuck-ins with Special Treats
December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 30, 31, 2017 at 7 p.m.
A holiday twist to story time, children will be treated to a special reading by one of Santa’s helpers as they recite the classic T’was the Night Before Christmas or Dooley’s Crew favorite, How to Catch an Elf. Milk and cookies will complete the evening before they’re snuggled into their beds for a good night’s sleep. The cost is $45 per guestroom.
Breakfast with Santa
November 25, 2017 and December 16, 2017 from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
Children of all ages will delight in attending Breakfast with Santa where your child’s wish list can be shared with him personally. Young guests will enjoy a breakfast buffet featuring miniature pancakes, muffins, waffles and other pint-sized breakfast items. Families will also receive one complimentary 5x7 inch photo with Santa. Breakfast is priced at $48 per adult and $28 per child ages 4 to 12.

Join Mrs. Claus and her elves in building a Gingerbread House complete with candy, icing while enjoying cookies, hot chocolate, and cider as each house is designed. Feast on the gingerbread creation or take it in a box to go to enjoy at home. Each station is designed for one to two people to decorate and is priced at $65 per house.
