David Campbell Relocates to Greensboro from Hainan, China
GREENSBORO, Ga. – June 27, 2016 – The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the appointment of David Campbell as Executive Pastry Chef of the hotel. Relocating to Greensboro from China, Campbell brings a dynamic world view and accomplished background across the globe to the luxury Lake Oconee resort.
Campbell has been a member of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company since 2012. Prior to joining the team at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, he served the company as Executive Pastry Chef at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami and The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya. Previously, he held pastry chef positions at various high-end restaurants and hotels around the world in California and Nevis. Campbell began his career in Paris, France working under Chef Pierre Herme and Chef Florian Bellanger.
Campbell attended San Diego Mesa College, where he obtained an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Culinary and Pastry Arts. Campbell’s education continued to the World Pastry Forum in Las Vegas, the French Pastry School in Chicago where he specialized in chocolate décor and Valrhona where he gained experience in contemporary American desserts, contemporary plated dessert and revised classic desserts. He looks forward to joining the talented team at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee team and being a part of the hotel’s exquisite dining experiences.
