Cooperation with Chaussee 36 accentuates the Club Lounge's artistic mood
Berlin, 1 September 2016 – The motif of "A home away from home" describes what is probably the German capital city's most exclusive club lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin. Convincing due to the personal service and the unique objects discovered by Marsano, the Club Lounge offers stays with a special charm, style and quality. The lounge on the Five-Star Superior Hotel’s 10th floor will now be enriched by another exclusive artistic feature through an exhibition in cooperation with Chaussee 36.
Since 2008, the five-star superior hotel has pampered its unique guests of highest standards with the 150-square-metre “Hotel within the Hotel”. 37 Club Level rooms are available on the 10th and 11th floor for a pleasant sphere of privacy. From 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., personal concierges – in addition to the hotel's staff – will also be available to the guests of the suites and Club rooms. Guests will experience the Club Lounge as a true haven, a private salon that is shielded from the hotel's lobby and public restaurant. Four different buffets entice guests throughout the entire day with culinary delicacies: from breakfast to a light lunch and afternoon teatime to the dinner buffet. High-quality food and beverages are served on sumptuous porcelain and in special glasses. Glamorous red champagne flutes by Cristialica are just one element of the valuable service furnishings. The costly glasses are supplemented with exquisite porcelain by the KPM porcelain manufactory. Moreover, guests have individual access to delicious snacks and fine, extravagant beverages of all types around the clock.
In addition to the exclusive service, artistic objects are the focus in the Club Lounge. With a light touch, antiques and young designs are combined in the private salon. A modern service cart finds its place in this exclusive atmosphere to the same extent as its antique counterpart from the Paris Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen flea market. The elegant style mix attains its lightness through the colour concept of the Hilmer & Sattler und Albrecht interior design agency – whose designers select the furniture of the luxurious Italian manufacturer Poltrona Frau.
General Director of the Grand Hotel Robert Petrović believes that it is important for guests to not only enjoy perfect service but also an individual flair in the Club Lounge. "Our guests visit the Club Lounge for a unique experience," says Petrović. "In addition to the exclusive service and culinary highlights, the guests in this hideaway find an interior that is unique and full of character based on hand-picked original objects and collector pieces." To emphasise the special flair of the lounge, twelve artworks by Renaud De Gambs and Björn will decorate the Club Lounge in cooperation with Chaussee 36. Theses artworks are also available for purchase. The photographs of Berlin were taken between 1990 and 2014. They will be presented both in colour and in black-and-white, allowing Berlin to radiate its charm.
