Wolfsburg, May 24th 2017 - Sven Elverfeld welcomed Quique Dacosta to an extraordinary event. Under the motto 'Cooking up friendship' Quique Dacosta from the eponymous restaurant in Dénia, Spain, awarded with three stars in the Michelin guide, currently travels across Europe. Together with Sven Elverfeld, the kitchen chef at Restaurant Aqua, Dacosta created a menu solely for the evening and inspired all guests. The two 3-Michelin star cooks have a long-term German-Spanish friendship and Elverfeld was very pleased about the visit: "Quique and I have not had the opportunity to cook together and therefore I was very happy about his idea to visit me at restaurant Aqua!”. The two chefs and their teams prepared alternately an 8-course menu, especially for this evening event. "This dinner gives Sven and me the opportunity to share our knowledge and passion for our profession and to surprise guests with a unique menu," says Dacosta.

About Quique Dacosta:
Quique Dacosta, born in 1972 in Jarandilla de la Vera, started his professional training as a chef in 1986. In 1988 he began working in what is today his restaurant, El Poblet (now Quique Dacosta Restaurante) which initially offered Spanish cuisine and then evolved to a more local marine cuisine. With this new turn, he starts to build a distinctive kitchen which contextualizes Alicantine, Valencian and Spanish innovative food and today, he is recognized all around the world for its artistic expression of the kitchen. He is also owner of the restaurants El Poblet (1*), Vuelve Carolina and Mercatbar in Valencia and is fully immersed 2017’s season with the newly launched menu, DNA, The search at his restaurant in Denia.
