NUSA DUA – June 2nd, 2017 – Marriott International has awarded Mr. Karim Tayach, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Bali with the Mustang Award, at its recently held Asia Pacific General Managers conference in Macau. The annual award recognizes general managers or hotels that have overcome substantial obstacles and/or introduced new innovation to the market. Mr. Tayach successfully opened The Ritz-Carlton Bali, a luxury beach resort in late 2014 and immediately positioned it as the favorite holiday destination in Bali for families and couples as well as ideal for MICE groups by hosting national, international meetings and events as well as prestigious weddings.

With a healthy market mix of diverse nationalities, the resort has also achieved substantial occupancy levels as well as Revpar indexes.

Over the same period, the resort’s “word of mouth” growing reputation for hosting incredible weddings has successfully positioned The Ritz-Carlton, Bali as the preferred wedding destination in Bali as well as in the region. From intimate gatherings and events to a complete property’s ‘buy-out’, the resort hosts domestic and international parties.
