Featuring Extensive Renovations to its Guestrooms and Club Lounge, the Hotel Launches a Special Stay Package, Presenting an Authentic and Luxurious Omotenashi Experience
OSAKA, JAPAN – July 25, 2017 – The Ritz Carlton, Osaka announced its completion of an extensive renovation project. The six-month endeavor, costing JPY 1.2 billion (approx. USD 10.8 million), encompassed the overhaul of all 291 guestrooms, from Superior Rooms to Executive Suites including The Ritz-Carlton Suite, as well as the Club Lounge. Also, the hotel has launched a special package, extending an authentic Japanese omotenashi hospitality experience to guests staying in a newly renovated Japanese Suite.
Guestroom interiors were transformed with cutting-edge design while remaining faithful to the original concept of a hotel inspired by an 18th century British aristocratic residence. Specifically, the Georgian-era style incorporates elegant furniture and modern touches against a palette of blue-based tones, harmonized with grays and beiges. Photographs and works of art featuring botanical and landscape themes adorn each guestroom, conveying a welcoming air.
Meanwhile, the fully renovated Club Lounge embraces the concept of a modern urban residence, while also taking inspiration from the private retreats of the British aristocracy. The lounge, with around 20% more space, consists of five harmonized areas: the Entrance, the Living Room Area, the Bar Area, the Dining Area and a newly-established Food Presentation Area, with breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea, hors d'oeuvres, and cordials and desserts.
Also The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka is now pleased to announce that all guests staying in one of The Ritz-Carlton Suites will be provided with Club Lounge access. Located on the 36th and 37th floors respectively, The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka’s two Ritz-Carlton Suites boast spacious interiors spanning 233 square meters, with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Osaka cityscape. The suites have been renovated with interiors that feature bright and soft shades of blue with elegant tones of Bordeaux red, white and Champagne gold that create a sophisticated atmosphere that will surely impress and inspire all staying guests.
Prices for a stay in one of The Ritz-Carlton Suites, complete start from 850,000 yen per night (excl. tax and service) with Bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne with Premium Fruit Platter, Flower centerpiece presentation, Chocolate Turndown, Monogrammed Pajamas, Dedicated 24-hour Butler, Access to Club Lounge and Ritz Kids Night Safari (for children).
“We are pleased to present our newly refurbished spaces, including guestrooms and the Club Lounge, timed to coincide with our 20th anniversary celebrations,” said Christopher R. Clark, General Manager, The Ritz Carlton Osaka. “Guests will discover the most comfortable and elegant stay in any of our guestrooms while those with Club Lounge access will enjoy dining, socializing and relaxing in even more luxurious settings.”
Moreover, guests are invited to experience omotenashi at the highest level of luxury with a stay in one of the Ritz-Carlton, Osaka’s two Japanese Suites located on the 25th floor. Taking guests back in time with their traditional ryokan inn-style designs, the suites include bright wooden floors and ornate fusuma paper screens as well as a spacious tatami-covered living room/sleeping area and a private engawa verandah. Exquisite Japanese décor complement sweeping views of the cityscape, imbuing the space with a sense of peace and clarity beyond the daily hustle and bustle.
