Tokyo, Japan 5 February 2016 – Following the recent launch of the its new guest’s rooms, Club Level and dining facilities, The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo has recently announced new offerings and amenities in the newly upgraded Club Lounge, located on the 53rd Floor of Tokyo’s tallest building. 

The Club Lounge is the focal point of The Club® level experience, and it went through a complete re-mastering in autumn 2015 to offer guests a completely new private lounge experience. Designed around the theme “Residence” with the new modern-Japanese interior concept, the new Club Lounge is elegantly sectioned into 4 different areas: The Reception, The Garden Terrace, The Dining Room and The Library Lounge. 

A selection of new offerings and amenities has been carefully crafted by the Ladies & Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo to enhance the 5 senses of guests experience, from food and beverage offerings, entertainment programs, to exclusive events, all are now available for club guests to enjoy.

The Sensory of “The Weekly Wonders”
A program that is uniquely Ritz-Carlton! The Weekly Wonders is designed to showcase local arts and crafts, educational and interactive activities for guests to enjoy from the comfort of The Club Lounge. Created to introduce local talents and artist to showcase their craftsmanship, guests will be able to explore different events or activities such as Origami Class, Sushi Demonstration, Sake, Wine, and Chocolate tastings and many more, inviting guests to discover and be part of the local culture. The Weekly Wonders are available every Saturday from 4:30pm to 5pm with new activities introduced seasonally. 

Harp & Chocolate Afternoon Tea
A special Afternoon Tea service has been introduced at The Club Lounge to warm up guests experience starting this winter. The Harp and Chocolate Afternoon tea is highlighting an elegant live music performance by a talented Harpist combined with the work-of-art of our culinary and beverage team. While enjoying relaxing Club ambiance and elegant tunes, guests’ palates will be pampered by a selection of delectable afternoon tea treats including a box of chocolate exclusively prepared by Award-Winning Chocolatier and Pastry Chef, Junji Tokunaga. The Harp and Chocolate Afternoon Tea is available every Sunday and Monday from 3pm to 4:30pm, exclusively for Club Guests.

The Signature Lobster Breakfast Omelet
Fresh from the Egg Station, the special Lobster Breakfast Omelet has been the Club Guests’ favorite dish and is becoming the signature breakfast menu at The Club Lounge. Made with special recipes using the freshest eggs, lobster meat, fresh herbs and a selection of condiments; the omelet is bursting with delightful taste, aroma and texture from the fresh lobster. Prepared ala minute from the egg station, the signature Lobster Breakfast Omelet is prepared exclusively at The Club Lounge every Saturday as the weekend treat.
