The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, organically manages gardens featuring a variety of herbs, fruits and vegetables. The beautifully manicured chef’s garden, located behind Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment center, boasts an extensive selection of fruits and vegetables, i.e. multiple types of lettuce, varieties of tomatoes and peppers grow in soil produced from The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua’s sustainable compost. Chefs from the resort’s restaurants pick fresh herbs, vegetables, and fruits daily to prepare and garnish select menu items.
