The VISTA restaurant in The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty is kicking off a new season lead by sous-chef Leonardo Nucera and resuming its Italian and Turkish Evenings, as well as traditional family brunches.

With the start of the new season, the restaurant is presenting an updated menu for guests, which now includes exquisite Mediterranean meat dishes, such as agnello alla siciliana (Sicilian style lamb stew) and pollo arrosto (roast chicken with wild mushrooms and white polenta, dressed with gremolata sauce), as well as filetto di manzo al pepe verde (Angus tenderloin with sautéed baby vegetables).

Italian Nights are back every Thursday. Guests can taste traditional Italian dishes skillfully crafted to the recipe of sous-chef Leonardo Nucera. New additions to the menu include: spaghetti with squid, gnocchi with shrimp, homemade pasta with langoustine and cherry tomatoes, as well as wasabi risotto with smoked eel.

The season of traditional family brunches at the VISTA restaurant begins on 17 September. Every Sunday between 12:00 and 16:00, the restaurant invites locals and visitors to Almaty to spend time with their loved ones and taste delicious meat dishes cooked on the open fire. Fish, seafood and other delicacies are also available, all accompanied by wine or champagne.

On top of that, every last Friday of the month, the VISTA restaurant is again pleased to welcome guests to its Turkish Evenings. Aside from kebabs and traditional sweet dishes, guests can enjoy stewed green beans, quince in olive oil, stuffed grape leaves, eggplant salad, spicy lentil soup and stewed lamb with eggplant cooked according to the best Turkish traditions.
