CANCUN, QUINTANA ROO – DEC 1, 2015 - The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun proudly announced today that it has welcomed Marcos Sierra as the new Chef of Fantino restaurant, the resort’s AAA 5-Diamond award winning Mediterranean restaurant. In his role, Chef Sierra will oversee all culinary operations for the hotel’s prestigious fine dining room.
A native of Barcelona, Spain with more than 15 years of culinary experience, Chef Sierra brings a wealth of knowledge and culinary insight to Cancun’s leading luxury resort. Chef Sierra joins The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun after serving as sous chef for the Hotel Arts Barcelona and the Hotel MasMonzon, both in Spain. Chef Sierra will assume leadership at the restaurant this month, where he plans to creatively complement Fantino’s Mediterranean cuisine with authentic Spanish cultural influences.
