NEW ORLEANS (September 9, 2016) – The Ritz-Carlton Spa, New Orleans has launched a new spa concept and menu of services focusing on tailored experiences that artfully integrate individual guest needs into treatments that will be anchored in local culture, employing nature and organic solutions. At the center of this concept are three treatments- Voodoo Ritual, Southern Ceremony, and Le Charme Romantique. Each treatment is unique to New Orleans’ property. The spa now also offers updated fitness equipment, complete with a virtual coach. The Wexer virtual coach is located in the bike room, formerly a kinesis/stretching area, and uses a touch screen control panel. The program is complete with a variety of classes reflecting the industry’s hottest titles and trends with more than 600 workouts from top brands such as Zumba, Virtual Active, and FitFusion. Each of these classes can be tailored to guests’ specific needs. Virtual spin bike courses allow guests to travel to destinations such as The Swiss Alps or West Coast from the comfort of The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans gym.

The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans is now featuring Champagne Barons de Rothschild “Reserve Ritz” as the house Champagne, available in Rosé or Brut. The Rosé Champagne tastes fresh and precise with a silky palate and undertones of raspberries, while the Brut exudes aromas of pear and nuts marrying hints of white flowers and toasty notes. The Champagne will be represented throughout Ritz/The Ritz-Carlton hotels worldwide in restaurants, lounges, in-room dining, and events.
